International Challengers for the Integration of Science, Technology, and Society

ICISTS Hackafair 2024

Reconnect Society

ICISTS, based at KAIST, organizes a global student academic event to propagate harmonious values of science, technology, and society. Since 2005, until the spread of COVID-19, the ICISTS-KAIST conferences has been held annually, bringing together over 250 participants from 20 countries each summer to share thoughts and network based on diverse backgrounds.

Now that COVID-19 has been completely eradicated and international cultural and economic exchanges have become lively again, we are once again planning to host a global workshop. ICISTS Hackafair 2024 will take place from August 7th to August 11th 2024, spanning 5 days. University students and experts from around the world will come together to explore solutions under the theme of Recombine Society, focusing on recombination a divided world.
